Nvidia Enhances GeForce Now with Blackwell RTX 5080 SuperPods and Expanded Game Library

Nvidia has rolled out a significant upgrade to its GeForce Now service, introducing Blackwell RTX 5080 SuperPods. The new hardware promises Ultimate-tier subscribers higher performance, reduced latency, and an expanded game catalog at no additional cost. Key features include DEEP Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) 4 and AI-upscaling, aimed at delivering smoother gameplay. Titles like DUNE: Awakening and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will showcase the GPU's capabilities.

The upgrade extends to broader device compatibility, supporting streaming on PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, LG TVs at 4K/120Hz, and Steam Decks at 90 fps. Nvidia emphasizes that Blackwell RTX servers are now coming online globally, enabling unprecedented performance across virtually any device.

Alongside hardware improvements, Nvidia has launched Install-to-Play (I2P), a feature that effectively doubles the GeForce Now library to nearly 4,500 games. I2P allows users to temporarily install large titles—even those exceeding 100GB—onto Nvidia's high-speed servers within minutes. However, the feature currently remains limited in scope.
